The Audio-Technica AT831B is the wired version of Audio-Technica's most popular lavalier mic for wireless systems. Developed specifically for picking up voice and musical instruments, it offers, crisp, full sound and a carioid pick-up pattern for superb rejection of ambient noise. An alligator-syle clip is supplied for lapel applications along with an adjustable clip mount for instrument miking (ideal for miking acoustic guitar), a foam windscreen and a protective case. Power is supplied to the mic via a AA battery housed in the XLR power module, or via phantom power from an external source.
