One of the best sounding headset microphone's for speaking you'll ever hear (but not see) is the Countryman E6 i headset. A super small condenser mic with a very low profile boom that rests securely and comfortably on one ear and is almost unnoticeable at even a short distance from the person wearing it.

Countryman recently added this i version E6 to it's lineup, it is the same quality mic just more flexible and easier to adjust. This wireless version is custom matched for the AudioTechnica 1000, 4000, 5000 and 7000 Series belt/bodypack transmitters. It is designed to be used by those with a normal speaking or singing voice and can take a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 135dB. Other versions are available for individuals with louder speaking and singing voices.

This i version is a neutral tan color which has proven to be the best match for all but the very darkest skin colors. Other colors are available (possible additional cost) by calling our sales department at 1-800-426-8664.

With an omnidirectional pickup pattern and a very thin flexible boom, the E6 is easy to position for the best sound and comfort. Even though it is an omni mic, it offers great gain before feedback in a way that is more typical of unidirectional mics.

The E6 comes with three different protective caps; each one creates a slightly different frequency response. One cap leaves the response flat, another adds brightness by bumping the response curve up about +4dB in the 12 to 15k range. A third cap gives a very bright response by bumping up the curve +8dB in the same range.
Whether you intend to use the Countryman E6 Headset for speech or song, it will provide excellent studio-quality sound with the absolute least visibility.

“As our ministry travels all across the country, we find ourselves in many different types of venues. Different venues sometime means that our speaker stacks don't often get to go in the ideal spot. Bad speaker placement means alot of feed back, if you don't know what your doing or if you don't have the right gear. The E6i has been the perfect mic for us to use because we have been able to get a ton of gain from it and not have the feed back we would from other mics. Alot of other mics will give you gain or quality, but not both. The E6 gives us both. Our ministry uses music as a tool to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, its the most important thing we do, that's why when its time each night to give the invitation, we trust no other mic to deliver that message than the E6i.”

The best way to get clear spoken work messages heard. We own many of these mics at our church, we tried a couple of the lower priced copies and the similar priced ones too. Nothing is better than the E6. Thanks CCI for having the best price and service. Jerry M.
