One of the best sounding headset microphone's for speaking you'll ever hear (but not see) is the Countryman E6 i – a super small condenser mic with a very low profile boom that rests securely and comfortably on one ear and is almost unnoticeable at even a short distance from the person wearing it.

Countryman recently added this i version E6 i to it's lineup, it is the same quality mic just more flexible and easier to adjust. This wireless version is custom matched for popular Shure belt/bodypack transmitters (like SLX and ULX Series) that utilize a TA4F connector. It is designed to be used by those with a normal speaking or singing voice and can take a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 135dB. With an omnidirectional pickup pattern and a very thin flexible boom, the E6 i is easy to position for the best sound and comfort. Even though it is an omni mic, it offers great gain before feedback in a way that is more typical of unidirectional mics.

The Countryman E6 i Headset Microphone comes with three different protective caps; each one creates a slightly different frequency response. One cap leaves the response flat, another adds brightness by bumping the response curve up about +4dB in the 12 to 15k range. A third cap gives a very bright response by bumping up the curve +8dB in the same range.
