Countryman recently added this i version E6 to it's lineup, it is the same quality mic just more flexible and easier to adjust. This wireless version is custom matched for Sennheiser’s EWG1 and G2 Series. It is designed to be used by those with a normal speaking or singing voice and can take a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) of 135dB. Other versions are available for individuals with louder speaking and singing voices. With an omnidirectional pickup pattern and a very thin flexible boom, the E6i is easy to position for the best sound and comfort. Even though it is an omni mic, it offers great gain before feedback in a way that is more typical of unidirectional mics.
The E6 comes with three different protective caps; each one creates a slightly different frequency response. One cap leaves the response flat, another adds brightness by bumping the response curve up about +4dB in the 12 to 15k range. A third cap gives a very bright response by bumping up the curve +8dB in the same range.
Whether you intend to use the E6 for speech or song, it will provide excellent studio-quality sound with the absolute least visibility.

“This mic works GREAT! It picks up the voices beautifully and has eliminated all of the feed back issues we experienced with the lapel mic that we were previously using.
