Furman has done it again. The PL-8 II 15 amp AC power conditioner contains one of the world’s most advanced and comprehensive transient voltage surge suppressors. The SMP+ (series mode protection plus) absorbs, clamps and dissipates damaging transient voltages instead of sacrificing itself under multiple transient voltage spikes. This means that there won’t be any sacrificed parts, which in turn means no need for service calls and no down time.

Working in tandem with the SMP+ is Furman’s LiFT (linear filtering technology). LiFT is an AC filter that esnsures optimal performance and no leakage to ground.

The PL-8 II also features LED rack lights which produce virtually no heat and have a long life span. Dim the rack lights, adjust the level of illumination or switch the lights off with a handy dimmer control. You can add a gooseneck lamp for rear rack illumination using the included BNC jack, and turn the lamp on and off with a front panel switch. A front panel mounted master switch controls operation of the rear outlets, and glows red when the power is on. The front-panel circuit breaker can be quickly and easily reset should the unit be overloaded. This unit also features a 10 foot, 14 gauge heavy-duty power cable.
