The PMD570 is a rugged and reliable rack mounted pro-installation solid state recorder from Marantz Professional. This recorder will lead the charge in audio data acquisition by replacing the traditional cassette tape with readily available and affordable CF (compact flash) cards. It records audio files literally with the touch of a button. Designed with compatibility for MP3, MP2, BWF, and WAV formats, the PMD570 boasts an impressive 40 assignable quality settings as well as a FAT32 file allocation table for future multi-gig file compatibility.
The PMD570 also features a computer I/O connection, allowing you to quickly and easily transfer files to your PC or MAC computer. You can drag and drop recorded audio files in minutes without the real-time delay disadvantages of cassette, mini disc or DAT recording.
