Willamette Christian Church "We couldn't be more pleased with CCI Solutions," says Chris Yarco, Director of Operations at Willamette Christian Church. "They took great care of us. Yarco, describing their worship style continues, “Our worship services are held in a multi-purpose gym, and so achieving the kind of acoustical, and audio/visual elements that could be hardy enough to handle daily basketball and volleyball, monthly dance parties for over 400 youth, and yet still help transform hearts on Sunday morning was our challenge. CCI worked with us to understand our desires, and brought many unique elements to bear to help us more than achieve these multiple needs. Our "sanctinasium" as we like to call it, has incredible acoustics, our sound system captures the most perfect singular notes while also impressing tweeners with its rock-out sounds.”
CCI Solutions came into the Willamette Christian Center project later than optimal for a systems integrator. After planning and building for months with another contractor, Willamette felt the direction they were heading was not going to get them where they needed to be with their sound, video and lighting needs. Chris Yarco recalls how CCI became involved with the project stating, "We finally told our architect that we no longer had confidence our project, which was already in process, was going to happen the way that it should. That's when I contacted CCI Solutions."
A Different Direction
"CCI was really coming in at the 11th hour," says Chris. "Our systems weren't originally designed properly. Our CCI consultant, Rick Boring, immediately did his homework, got the background information, came to the church and assessed the situation with our team and identified the next steps. His integrity was high and he didn't offend us about what were some bad decisions on our part or the previous company. He just showed us where we needed to make some adjustments."
Chris added, "Rick did all of this in a very narrow window of time because we were already in our construction phase. Basically, CCI Solutions walked into a very difficult situation. They worked within our time frame and took the scope of the project on their shoulders and over delivered. The Willamette team supported all of the recommendations Rick made. He brought with him superior audio expertise. Rick and the CCI Solutions team also made recommendations regarding our video system. Yarco states, “The two front screen projection monitors can be seen from every single angle in our gym, maximizing the numbers of people who can hear the life-saving message of Christ each weekend.”
