    The CAD Audio 1600VP is a continuously-variable pattern condenser microphone for use when a suspended system is required. It includes a counter poise string, exclusive articulating steel hanger, anti-twist thread and rods, 30' of cable, and XLRF-type wall plate. The 1600VP is part of a miking system that utilizes a remote polar control (patent pending) with variable polar pattern for precise adjustments to shape of the pick-up pattern for best performance from a remote location. It uses a two-conductor shielded cable (maximum length 2,000 feet) between the microphone head and the pattern-control box (VPC-1), so user can adjust the polar pattern in real time without changing capsules, microphone positions, or inducing noise in the audio chain.

Applications for the CAD CAD-1600VP
The CAD 1600VP is perfect for church choirs, school choir. Use 2 to 3 CAD 1600VP choir mics overhead for a choir of 15 to 30 people on a 3 tierd riser. More microphones may be necessary without the use of a riser.
