Able to fit in the palm of your hand, the Marantz PMD660 Portable Solid State Recorder provides up to 36 hours of record time (mono mp3), or over an hour of uncompressed stereo audio (16-bit .wav files) on a single Compact Media Flash Card. With up to 4 hours of operation on 4-AA batteries, it’s perfect for conference recordists, music directors, electronic journalists and other audio professionals who need a reliable, high-quality solid state portable recorder.
The Marantz PMD660 Portable Solid State Recorder has two editing modes built-in to give you excellent flexibility in handling your audio files. “Copy Segment” editing uses non-destructive cut-and-paste-style editing to create a new sound file, which can be up/downloaded via the built-in USB port. With The Marantz PMD660 Portable Solid State Recorder has thier exclusive Virtual Track Mode, you can create up to 99 virtual tracks with an internal edit list enabling nonlinear playback of file segments, without using card memory to create a new file.
