First I'll say that for the price - these are really quite good. Maybe a little heavy on the bass, but very workable. I'm just used to better cans like their better models or those of other manufacturers. I think it's worth spending the money for the better headphones to get better isolation, better clarity / openness, and flatter frequency response. But again, at this price, I don't think you'll be disappointed. And in fact, I was pleasantly surprised at what you did get.
