Having used QLX-D Systems at multiple locations, I can definitely attest to the power of digital. Older and newer analog systems that were in place always had dropouts and RF flare-ups, even the GLX systems would experience occasional “garbling” especially near the port, where cruise ships and coast guard have powerful transmissions. But the QLX system has been very reliable, and after setting the gain structure appropriately, sounds great! Would absolutely recommend.
