Just Announced: Hitachi Rated Top Professional Projector Brand In 2012 PMA Dealer Survey

February 4, 2013 at 12:47 pm

CHULA VISTA, California, February 4, 2013 — Hitachi America, Ltd., Digital Media Division,
Business Solutions Group today announced that Hitachi has been named the top-rated
projector brand for dealers serving the professional market in a survey conducted by Pacific
Media Associates (PMA). Hitachi earned the number-one ranking based on its overall
composite rating in the 15th survey of North American professional projector dealers conducted by PMA,
the worldwide market information experts on front projectors.

The survey took place in November and December 2012 and asked dealers to rate 21
aspects of marketing support, product attributes and after-sale support. Quality and reliability
were rated to be the most important factors for dealers when choosing a projector
manufacturer.

“We are incredibly proud to be recognized as the top professional projector brand in the professional
market by PMA’s survey,” said Darla Achey, Marketing Manager, Hitachi America, Ltd.,
Digital Media Division, Business Solutions Group. “It’s especially important to us because the
rating reflects the opinion of dealers who have hands-on experience with every brand of
projector in the field and know how they perform in the real world where the rubber meets the
road.”

In addition to receiving the top overall composite manufacturer rating, Hitachi earned the
number-one scores in the top five sub-composite rankings for Marketing Support, Products
and After-Sale Support and the number-one score in the Top Five Rankings for Leading
Overall Attributes in the Return/Repair Programs category.

Christian Musicians Summit 2012 Wrap-Up and Winners

January 10, 2013 at 1:47 am

The Christian Musicians Summit at Overlake is an event that NW worship leaders, teams and musicians look forward to each November, and once again CCI Solutions was a key sponsor.

tech-lounge

Transforming Worship Spaces was the theme of the CCI Solutions Tech Lounge this year at CMS. Our systems design and tech staff created a room full of great examples of creative ways to use lighting and video in set design. Besides being a very cool place to hang out and grab some refreshment, attendees were able to talk with our designers and techs about “do it yourself” ideas for combining lighting and video technologies along with some creative set design techniques to create more depth, dimension and mood in their worship spaces. Many church techs went away with a renewed sense of purpose and some practical ideas to improve the visual aspect of their worship services.

The CCI Worship Solutions Center in the Gym featured a unique Wireless Worship Solutions demo stage where our worship techs provided live demos of the newest technologies for wireless lighting control, wireless in-ear monitor systems, wireless video, wireless mixer control and more. Our Tech Tours let church techs see the latest gear from our partner manufacturers, including Sennheiser, Countryman, PreSonus, Elation, CAD, BBE, Electro-Voice, Rapco/Horizon, Chauvet, Line 6, Westone, EasyWorship, Peerless, Hitachi, Roland, McCauley, and Abelton. One of the attractions that attendees always appreciate from CCI Solutions is the gear giveaways! This year we gave awayWorship Tech gets demonstration of wireless in-ear monitor mixing over $10,000 in prizes, including the grand prize of a PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 digital mixer complete with StudioOne Artist 2 production software and a year subscription to Nimbit, the online music/sermon publishing site. See all the prizes and winners below.

It was a pleasure meeting with all of you who stopped by our Worship Solutions Center and Tech Lounge and we always love the chance to talk about AV technology and ideas that can better equip the Church to carry out her mandate of worship proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom.

Gear Giveaway Winners:

Grand Prize Winner: Kenny Shoquist from Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Kenny Shoquist is our PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 Mixer Package Giveaway winner! Kenny, who is a drummer at St. Paul’s UnitedKenny Shoquist, Winner of the PreSonus StudioLive GiveawayMethodist Church in Albuquerque, said their worship team had been saving up to be able to attend CMS for two years. They loved learning about all the new gear, taking classes, and seeing David Crowder perform– but the best part was winning this amazing prize! “The other guys gave me a hard time for signing up [for the contest], but you can’t win if you don’t,” explained Kenny when we called to congratulate him. Now, he says, the whole church is so excited that he won the digital mixer for them.PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 Giveaway Package

While St. Paul’s has been growing their contemporary service for the past few years (attendance is up to about 100 people per service), the older sound equipment they are currently using was due for an update. “It sounds like we have gremlins in there,” jokes Kenny. As a drummer, he especially appreciates how the StudioLive 16.0.2 will give them a better live monitor mix, so that he can hear the rest of the band more clearly. “We’re watching every penny… and this is really going to help us out!”
