Breakthrough Innovations Make Digital Connections a Snap!

Forget the old, heavy analog snake- with the Behringer S16 Digital Snake, connecting your digital mixing console with your worship team has never been easier! You get 16 remote-controllable mic-preamps and 8 analog returns (more than enough to capture your band's live sound), and can easily connect to the front of house console with just a single, lightweight CAT5 cable, thanks to the SuperMAC technology from high-end digital audio processing brand KLARK TEKNIK. Besides being easy to set up, the S16 has seamless connectivity with Behringer's Powerplay Personal Monitoring System and a handy standalone option as well!

The Behringer S16 at a Glance:

  • Easy Set-Up
  • Seamless Connectivity with Behringer's Powerplay Personal Monitoring System
  • Standalone Option
Easy Set-Up

Instead of running back and forth from the stage to your console every time you want to adjust your stage box, use the S16's remote-controllable function to adjust your preamps from the front of house position! You can also set individual input channel Gain, apply +48 V phantom power, or listen directly to the input signal via headphones. Once you have the system set up the way you want it, you can lock the configuration's settings at the console so they don't get messed with.

Seamless Connectivity with Behringer's Powerplay Personal Monitoring System

Want an advanced personal monitoring system without a ton of hassle? The S16 was made to use with the popular Behringer Powerplay P16 personal monitoring system. With the Ultranet port, you can set up and install a P16 system in minutes, providing a digital split from your P16-M personal digital mixer straight from the stage box. And you can expand the system as you see fit!

Standalone Option

While the S16 digital snake was designed to work with Behringer's X32 digital console, it can also be used with any mixing board that has AES50 networking capability. And if you need to use an analog mixing board, the solution is simple-- use two pairs of S16s and a Behringer ADA8000 Ultragain Pro 8-Channel A/D D/A Converter, and voila! You have a 16 x 16 high-performance digital snake that still has the preamp remote control ability and only needs one CAT5 cable.
