Small, but serious

Solid State Logic SiX (SSL-SIX) compact desktop mixer leverages 40 years of SSL's true audio expertise to deliver a powerful, intuitive and flexibly creative device with impeccable sonic performance for use in a wide range of audio applications. Beneath the surface of this unassuming, studio grade console, you'll discover a powerful set of professional features in a small 1/2 rack width form factor, designed to be small enough to fit into hand luggage. For use in the studio, in post-production, on stage, and for podcasting, the SSL Six offers two recording channels fitted with SuperAnalogue™ mic pres with a wide 66㏈ of gain range, an essential one knob version of the classic SSL Channel Compressor, a new two-band Channel EQ, inserts and 100㎜ faders. The main mix bus takes advantage of SSL's classic console circuit design, but has a more modern quad-VCA chip that fixes ratio, attack and release settings, simplifying the compressor while maintaining the respected, sonic signature of SSL consoles. A talkback mic input with phantom power and SSL's crunchy Listen Mic Compressor extends the SiX's functionality and versatility.

Features:

  • Pristine sound with ultra low noise and distortion
  • Two SSL console grade SuperAnalogue mic preamps
  • 12 line level inputs with channel and Master Bus inserts
  • G Series Bus Compressor on the main mix bus with modern quad-VCA chip
  • Talkback mic input with phantom power and SSL's unique Listen Mic Compressor
